Head that yesterday The Allegheny County Airport Authority Fire Dispatch is now being handled by Allegheny County EOC being dispatched off West Fire Dispatch. Head the first dispatch about an hour ago on West Fire.

That would make sense as Allegheny County 911 Center is suppose to move to the airport as the building they are using now is in bad condition. I think they are moving into the USAir Flight Training building that has been vacant since USAir flew the coop.

So Greater Pittsburgh International Airport fire Services get dispatched on West fire dispatch now so after they get dispatched where do they switch for ops? Do they use a westfire operation Channel or do they switch to one of the airport frequencies? And is there anything planned in the near future to move the airport security to maybe one of the West PD channels or are they going to stay on their own separate airport frequency?

From what I heard the 911 center has to pay rent to use this site as it belongs to the Airport Authority. The rent for this is much greater in cost then what is being paid for at Lexington Site. I'm pretty sure the Airport Authority will have to pay the 911 Center for Dispatching the FD/EMS so it will be a trade to save some money. I do not know this for sure so please don't jump me if I'm wrong. I'm thinking the Airport dispatchers will most likely join the 911 Center dispatchers as part of a deal but to what aspect I don't know.
As far as the security and maintenance we will see how it gets played out.
