I've got my second computer up and running again. If I understand correctly, with one licence I am allowed to activate on two computers? I just wanted to verify I'm understanding before, actually attempting the second install. Thanks!
Each license allows activation on 2 separate computers.
ProScan license can be deactivated on one computer and activated on another computer or can be activated again on the same computer if OS reinstalled or hard drive reformatted.
Every license enables us to improve our software and continue to develop ProScan.
Licenses can not be transferred or sold.
All sales final. Try the 30 day fully functional demo/trial before purchasing.
Lost keys are sent at no charge. Key Request must be done via email.
There would be no harm in trying it. If you try to install on more computers than you've licensed, it'll pop a message up stating that the license has been exceeded, or something akin to that. In other words, it simply won't allow you to exceed the license, no harm no foul.
I bought a new laptop and had to deactivate the old laptop to install proscan on my new machine. It said just one license. Did they change the policy? I am going to toss the old laptop but just curious.
Not that I know of. It's still two per that I know of. I have somewhere around like 5 or so purchases. It's worth every penny. I keep all the install info in a text file to try to keep track and not to bother Bob.

ProScan allows you to install and activate it on up to two computers. The trick is to make sure you deactivate it via the "Tools" menu before selling, reformatting or tossing the old computer. I have to assume that you had installed and activated it on another computer sometime in the past.
If you forget to do so before you reformat or dispose of the old computer you have to email Support and that might take a little time. I did that once last year and Bob deactivated the old computer I had reformatted a day or two later. A few months later when I gave a different computer I remembered to deactivate ProScan on it first and I had no problems installing and activating on the replacement.
If you want to use it on a third or fourth computer then get a second license, it is worth it!
