I just can't seem to find the ambulance code for Norfolk County. I believe their dispatch is out of Hamilton but not positive on that. Any help would be appreciated.

I just can't seem to find the ambulance code for Norfolk County. I believe their dispatch is out of Hamilton but not positive on that. Any help would be appreciated.

Norfolk EMS, like the 6th Nations, Haldimand and Brant Co's are all dispatched on talkgroup 35632, referred to as Simcoe (for the one time town in Norfolk, now amalgumated in the County of Norfolk).
These EMS proividers are dispatched by Hamilton CACC. Brant County units travelling to Brantford General usually are heard on Hamilton CACC Tac 3 and/or on the talkgroup for the hospital.

I dont know what code's you are referring to though.

I don't know what to punch in on my Uniden scanner to get this ambulance group. For others there are codes such as 143.57 that I put in to get police, or airports, etc. Can you tell me what I need to put in to get this group you are talking about? Thank you so much!

What type of scanner are you using? Sounds like it might be an older non-trunking model. Ambulance across Ontario are on the provincial VHF Fleetnet system which requires a trunk tracking scanner to properly monitor. If you aren't familiar with trunking, take a look in the Wiki and there is lots of good info there.

Guy or gal, it doesn't matter. As I mentioned already we are certainly willing to help. Did you check my first reply above? Start there and I'm sure we can help you. It's difficult to go any further without additional info (i had asked for the same info in your other post last year too, but never saw a reply)

Neither I or Forts was trying to be rude to you, but we cannot help you if you dont tell us what kind of scanner you are using and what does the "Code for EMS mean?

There are dozens of people here, male and female who will be willing to help you out and go the extra mile but we cannot do anything for you if you dont give us the information (your scanner) first.

Besides, both Forts and I are fathers, of daughters, neither of us are mean to women.
