You're welcome. It is not listing any other peers at this time. I've been checking the 850MHz band for quite some time and so far this is the only AEP P25 site I've heard down this way. I'll keep my ears open and post whenever more pop up.

I appreciate it. I have made a Google Map (that lists all licensed sites, confirmed active or not) and an RR Wiki article relating to 1F7. You might want to take a look at those if you haven't already, as they may help you decide where to look for signals, and may help you figure out what any new site is if you come upon a new one not already in the DB.

Again, thank you - we appreciate your efforts.

Unless you travel, if Logan is the only site you've ever heard down there, the only other sites you will likely ever pick up down there are those that are peers of Logan. Please do check Logan once in a while, specifically the peers, and see if there are any new ones. It's clear that not all of the sites around Logan are online yet, and the peer list will go a long way in telling us when a new site is online if you dont happen to copy the new site direct. Then at least we know to let others know to check for it online in their area.

It is interesting that in OK, so far we have various sites confirmed between 6.6 and 49.49. One would suspect if they went up to at least 49, then there are at least 49 sites. But, there are only about 46 "licensed" sites, and a few of those sites are what appear to be new locations to replace a few old sites (like Elk City, Grove, and Jay/Cloud Creek. That would dwindle it down to about a maximum of 43 "licensed" sites that may become active. I wonder if they are purposely not configuring any current sites as 1.1 through 5.5 just in case they add new sites down the road. Although one would have expected to just add on to the top.

At any rate, I think about 32 sites have been either confirmed online by direct monitoring or determined to be online based upon them showing up in peer lists. So there is still a bit to go.

We really need somebody in the Grove / Jay / McAlester / Talihina / Atoka / Clayton / Antlers / Hugo / Snow / Idabel area to help out with some of these in OK.

Also between OKC and Clinton. I can never receive Clinton, Fort Cobb, Hinton (or the OKWIN site at Geary) for some reason. I usually can't receive Chickasha. I think the usual tropo inversion layer doesn't make it over the Wichita Mountains or something.

Also needed are people with phase II reception capability to start confirming talkgroups.

I looks like most or all of the AEP P25 sites in SW OK have 2 or 3 non-P25 SCADA channels on the air. This is starting to making it hard to find other stuff during band openings.

I assume that you are referring to the same kind of thing we are hearing up here in Ohio -- basically, what appears to be 25 khz signals that I call "test patterns" since they sorta remind me of P25 test patterns I have seen in the past. Here we also see 1 or two of them per site. The center of those signals is always a licensed frequency for one of the local sites. And they certainly do mess things up.

If you are referring to something else, I'm not sure if experience it up here.

Don't know what to make of this. Have a 1FA system back again. However, the real Leonard site is still online, unlike last time.

I wonder if they happen to be staging / testing out of Leonard - you know, like to test out a site's assets before actually sending it to the location. Otherwise, it's pretty strange to have two sites at the same location with each being a different SysID. It's not like Leonard is on the border of two zones or not. Pretty strange. And it looks like 9.9 could potentially be Tulsa (which isn't currently online as a 1F9 site). Hard to tell.

I'm not inclined to do any adding to the DB because I really wonder if it's a permanent thing, or if it has as much activity on it as Leonard.

Probably wouldn't hurt to document it in the Wiki though. And I will do that sometime this weekend.

I am still a a newbie when it comes to using unitrunker, so once I figure out how to extract the data from it and post it without screenshots I will try and do so.

That's a lot of previously undocumented neighbors. That's a good find, yet no 1F5 neighbors in KY.
Yeah, that's for sure. I will do some more sleuthing and see what I can find, I am a good distance away from those sites so I may not be able to find much.

The Fallsburg site which is in Lawrence County KY is online too and is a peer of the Boyd County site that I previously posted. FCC Callsign WPCQ242 (AMERICAN ELECTRIC POWER SERVICE CORPORATION)View attachment 96010View attachment 96011

Great job with both Fallsburg and Catlettsburg. I"m guessing Fallsburg was weak for you? I would have expected many more neighbors. Was Fallsburg a strong signal? If not, please keep an eye on it down the road and see if you can get neighbors/peers for it at some point.

Thanks!

Yes you are correct, the Fallsburg site was fairly weak. I tried for several minutes to get a better signal but did not have much luck. I'll try again soon with a better antenna and see what I can come up with.
