Does anyone know if the NXDN 900Mhz system is still in use? I was near the stadium with my SDS100 and didn't hear a peep

As Tim correctly pointed out, it is a lower power system and you have to be fairly close to the park to hear it but it seems to work pretty well.
Parking is a separate company and the frequency is 453.000mhz which is either a DMR or NXDN. It's a great one to have on your scanner especially now with the problems with the new parking system they stupidly introduced this year. I just programmed all of them as conventional digital search and that seems to work just fine since AMFAM appears to be the only user anyway. Don't expect to hear much on non event days.

I also recall many years ago when they were still using their original 900mhz analog system. For some reason it came thru clear but it sounded like it was distant and muffled. That could have just been the repeater type. I lost interest in sports several years ago but I remember leaving a game once and had the scanner in the car. I actually heard Bob Uecker himself talking on either the usher or operations channel. Nothing serious just some of his home spun funny advice about something but I can't remember since that was over 15 years ago.
