I keep seeing new frequencies assigned to the above business in Rockland County & Orange County in NY, ie 464.62500. A little research shows that American Time & Signal is a manufacturer of wireless clocks. Is anyone familiar with this company? Do the large amount of frequencies and locations have anything to do with the clocks?

My guess would be for a master/slave clock system they sell. Think back in your school days when all the wall clocks were synced via AC power. Now they are going with RF to do it. I have seen several use 72 MHZ channels to do it.

Yes, this is a pretty popular way of doing it.
A base station site has a GPS receiver that is used to determine exact time.
The system takes that time signal and uses it to synchronize all the clocks via RF signals.

Some large colleges, high schools, etc. use these systems. The frequency/power of the system depends on the customers needs.
