Has anyone tried listening to amrs new nxdn system? I have the frequencies for the Hayden site on the licence wrmg664 programmed into my 436hp and have not heard anything from them. Also, if it was a trunked system shouldn't there be a control channel? I have not found anything.

In Kingman I have only found one frequency of their system to be active and it is 160.1475 and you will need a radio capable of monitoring NXDN systems such as the TRX-1 or 2 or the appropriate upgrade for selected Uniden radios. The other licensed frequencies for their system appear to be quiet in this area.

Okay thanks. So 160.1475 in conventional digital mode not trunked? I wonder if there's less radio traffic now, I know they have Nextel like phones that go to dispatch.

Conventional mode. Seems as if all their activity is found here.

So then,, no more River Medical on UHF?
Nope they went over to nxdn.according to the FCC license for the new system it's a trunked system. But I haven't found a control channel or anything. And all the traffic seems to be on 160.1475.

Ok. Thanks for the info. Then someone (other than me) should submit a change to the database minders.

I have had both 160.1475 and 158.2425 in my scanner, and only 160.1475 has had activity for Kingman.

Guys, relative to AMR/River Medical, is this going to be a arizona wide switch for AMR? Yuma is on the 800 trunked system.

Not sure I know AMR Riverside made a switch to NXDN a few years back. Maybe JVC/Kenwood made them a sweet deal nationwide for any areas not on county systems?

Here in the Phx area & parts of Pinal County they are on conventional UHF, and in Casa Grade they are on the Pinal County system along with Fire. If they were going to move everyone to the NXDN system it would have to be a rather large system as AMR has bought up several smaller companies in different areas.
