They are now dispatching calls on one of the new repeaters, 160.14 RAN 44.

It's still conventional. DSDPlus shows:
Sync:-NXDN48 CB VOICE
RAN=44 VCall Group RID=1 4800 bps/Half Rate Clear KID=0

Dispatch RID is 65508 with no over the air alias.
It appears that all the mobile/portables are RID 1 with no over the air alias, or at least it isn't coming through the repeater.

I can't tell yet if the dispatcher is still in Dallas or local now.
Still nothing heard on the other licensed repeater.
155.235 does not appear to be used any longer.

It appears they left it with dual mode or analog FM enabled with carrier squelch on the input and no output tone. Some noise or weak signal is keying it up occasionally. I can't believe anybody would intentionally do that.

Now it's picking up a weak CW ID of WQOT541 from Granbury.
This could be fun to listen to when the band is open.

I don't know what's going on with them.
They have been dispatching calls on the old simplex frequency 155.235 the past few days but I think the units are still on the NXDN repeater. The other licensed NXDN repeater is still not being used if it actually exists.

I don't know why they just don't use the city's trunked system for everything. A while back I saw a medic with two hand helds, It looked like a VHF Icom or Kenwood plus a Harris 800 MHz like the city uses.

I also don't know why the FD never took over EMS like most other places around here.

I wouldn't be surprised if AMR is using Logis for dispatch like they do in a lot of other places. It's basically an Android phone locked down with a dispatching app.

AMR has talk groups on HOTRRS here in Waco.

Being a former Wichitian I can chime in:
AMR ("Global") has basically gotten too big for their britches, and corporate business measures has greatly reduced quality of services and personnel ( AZ EMT basic= minimum wage). Here in Arizona AMR and their subsidiaries contracts for "emergency medical services" are not being renewed and EMS is going in house to the FDs (out here the FDs do all the treatment and packaging anyway and AMR is just a transport service).

Today the 461.85 repeater is off line and 160.14 repeater is still operating normally.
The dispatch control station can be heard on the repeater inputs 466.85 and 152.8625 at the same time. Also on the 155.235 analog base station. Mobiles have been using 155.235 the past few days but I haven't heard them at all so far today.

155.235 has been mostly dead for months.
Today they set up a patch between 155.235 (analog simplex) and 160.140 (NXDN repeater).
They did some radio checks with dispatch, units and Wichita County Emergency Management. It sounded like this is intended to be permanent.
