Earlier today on 11175 kHz Andrews came up and broadcast an interesting message: “Internal emergency. Station is securing operations”.
What was this all about?

Well, that's pretty interesting. I've never heard anything like that before. I'm sure that whatever the "internal emergency" was, information about it will remain internal as well.

Great catch Brandon. I searched about every newspaper media outlet on the web but to no surprise could not find any mention of the incident. I also took a look at the various public web sites associated with Andy and could find no mention of it there either. Before I forget thanks for emailing your info on how to create linked audio files.

I sent this recording to my buddy who is a fire dispatcher. He noticed there is a alarm going off in the background. I totally didnt hear that! Good ear.
