Barton Hills is within Ann Arbor Township, and patrolled by WCSD units assigned to the township. (The village's constable doesn't talk with Metro Dispatch.)

Also, MSP Post 12 label is a bit misleading, as only the units working in Washtenaw County are dispatched by Metro.

I never understood the labeling of West vs East and whats included.... Salem Twp is directly north of Superior Twp both are on the counties far east border but 1 is on the west talkgroup and one is on the east talkgroup??

I think it's because Salem Twp is handled by MSP and MSP uses the West talkgroup for dispatching. Same goes for Augusta Twp.

York Twp gets kinda tricky. If their is a Sheriff York Twp car on duty, they will use METROEAST. If not, the call will be handled by MSP on the WEST TG.
