I wonder if Alpha is in channel positions 1 and 16? I'd like to see the channel plans for their zones.

I don't monitor the School Buses talkgroup but that might be the last talkgroup patched to P16 (unless it was also taken down today).
Patch was taken down. Some school bus operators were having trouble contacting "base" on P16 but were able to communicate with a few other mechanics. At least 7 radios weren't updated yet.

Splitting the county in half. Batt 1 & 2, Zone 1; Batt 3 & 4, Zone 2
Cool, thanks!

I'd like to see the channel plans for their zones.
That would be very helpful!

Think the AA County Smartzone is finally off the air. Not seeing any active control channels from the list of them.

Kind of sad to see the long lived Smartzone system being retired. It was always real strong even here in Middle River.

Going forward that will free up stuff in the scanners and the G4/G5 handle the P25 system fine even from this area.

Guess will now have some people with older scanners that don't know much about them say the scanner no longer works with the Smartzone being shut down.

When I'm up along the water in the Havre de Grace/ Aberdeen area believe it or not I could hear it well. the 151.010 would BOOM up here as well.

Guess you mean 154.010

Sorry to see it go also along with two paging, since my TK290s and TK5210s no longer work for the pager channels I set up. At least Harford County still uses two tone, so can have it on my UHF Kenwoods.

Update the database in your programming software, then download the P25 system into your radio.

Here is an updated file with Anne Arundel and Howard Counties changed to the new P25 systems. Anne Arundel is still on scan list 1 and Howard is still on scan list 6. Please let me know if it works.

Are you sure? The DB says it's P25 Phase I, not the Motorola Smartnet anymore. They do have APX radios, and I believe they are using digital.

What area are you in? In my area, we have P25.
