Today while driving around I spotted a AACO Fire Dept 4 door sedan
with the following on the side "Fire Alarm 2". What kind of unit would
this be? I've never heard a unit addressed as that. Could it be
Battalion Chief 2 (probably not) or Chief of Station 2 (probably not).
The unit was on MD 100 and turned onto Ritchie Hiway and into the
Marley Station Mall.

Any ideas?

Thats the Captain of Fire Alarm (Dispatch). He has a take home car to respond in case of catastrophic radio failures. He also is one of the PIO's for the county.
