I just got an Antenex mobile antenna for my truck. I hid the cable inside my truck kind of in the lining of the interior cloth/plastic so you can't see it. What I want to know is will doing this to the cable hinder the reception at all, or can you put the cable in anywhich way you want as long as the base and antenna are on top of the truck. Thanks!

Don't bend it too tight, don't crush it, don't heat it, don't flex it back and forth too much, and all will be fine.

What about the cold? We get pretty cold winters here in Michigan. How hot is too hot
Hot enough to melt soft plastic.

how cold is too cold?
As long as you don't bend the cable, it can survive colder air than you can. Bend it when the temperature is comfortable enough for you to work outdoors with no gloves for an hour.

Don't worry about cold, unless it is going to be bent while cold.

A would keep it under 100 or 120 (Wild guess).
