I also overthink things a lot the reception is great
That's a sure sign the antenna is just crooked.
My 325P2 antenna is 90 degrees off from the table I set the radio on so it does not appear to have any lean any direction.
Mine basically aligns perfectly with the first column of keypad buttons.
I guess the main thing is that your BNC jack is tight and you don't see any reception problems.
Nope, nothing to worry about really.Yeah the radio works perfectly and the when i try to turn the antenna knob its very very hard to take off i put a lot of force into it, they said these antennas are meant to bend slightly should i be worried about that? I am getting a new upgraded antenna
It actually comes with locks its real easy to take off and put lock it in place really, jack looks perfectly fine and tightly onNope, nothing to worry about really.
It sounds like the BNC jack may be out of round which can make it hard to twist the antenna BNC plug to install or remove the antenna.
If it's out of round enough, you may be able to see a slight oval shape instead of a nice round jack.
Of course it could be the BNC plug on the antenna that's out of round and the jack is fine. A different antenna will tell you that if it's easy to put on or take off.
It looks like its the antenna that gives off that illusion how it was madeNope, nothing to worry about really.

The little locking bumps are a standard feature of the BNC spec.It actually comes with locks its real easy to take off and put lock it in place really, jack looks perfectly fine and tightly on
Yeah when i take the antenna off it has like a bulge at the end of the rubber and the rubber is lifted up a bit definitely what it is, also im in the car a lot so i do find it when im driving the frequencies come in static but when i am still parked it works greatThe little locking bumps are a standard feature of the BNC spec.
It probably is just the antenna itself that has a slight bend in it. When you turned it and it became straight, that pretty much told you it is the antenna that makes it look crooked.
My Uniden bcd325p looks like at the antenna port that it leans a little bit to the right not sure if this is a defective product or this is how the scanners were made? seems to work fine also dropped it once now im all paranoid
thanks
Yes, one of your representatives told me that their is little kinks like that with the rubber antennas and thats how the manufacturing process went. Was it like that before it was dropped? (I didn't see anyone asking that)

So your saying the rubber part looks off a little right? The BNC jack is tight as hell even when i try to wiggle the antenna its very very hard to take offI hesitate to make any statements about antenna performance because each situation is unique. Nothing is guaranteed 100% of the time.
Reference your antenna pic: The BNC looks straight. The part above that looks off a little. Again, dealer issue. Try contacting them.
Of course, if you are going to replace it anyway, it may not be worth your time. Your call.
