We have the same 4.9Ghz. type system out here in elk city. I found it on top of a old phone pole about 2 blks north of me. 2 antennas. I'll try to get a photo without looking too suspisious...

Gone long ago

From everything I have heard, this system was slowly decommissioned. It was not upgraded or maintained over time which may have been cost prohibitive. City services are back to using mobile hot spots.

We have these in our neighborhood ... or did, I need to check. As far as I know, it's OG&E's electric meter monitoring system (OEC's is through the power line).
