Any Help with AR2001

I have an AOR Model AR2001 25-550MHz Serial number 10215.
Each time I press Search “Error” shows on the screen? Also the scan numbers when I start a scan it does not show 1/10/16 ?
I have Operating manual but still cannot solve these problems . Have had this set a long time and it has been 99.9% trouble free but now this is a real problem. I there a way I could wipe the frequencies on scan and re install ?
Can you send some instructions that may assist me.

While I look for my AOR resources, suggest you do the following. Remove the power cable from the radio, turn on radio and let set for several minutes.

After making certain you have good regulated supply voltage, turn the radio off and re apply. Reinstall the antenna and fire it up. If the radio still acts goofy, you'll need to do a soft reset (do not have the key strokes on this one) and that should clear it up. I once had a 2001 and aside from the front end crapping out, it was a decent radio. I don't think any internal lithium cells may need replacing, so that need to be looked in to.

My ambien is getting my goofy and cannot trype good. Will get back with you tomorrow.
