That is a directional antenna. You point it towards the tower your listening to.

Bought one on Ebay myself after another RR member recommended it. Use it for our local TRS.

I was having issues getting clear reception on all voice channels.

I use the Yagi with LMR-400 and works like a charm.

I highly recommend it. I ended up getting it for under $10.00.

Im kinda right smack in the middle of three towers if I change scanner location in the house I get a different tower. Thanks Again Hoser147
