any longwave listeners?

I added a 20uH Airdux coil to the end of my 66ft longwire and it has brought up the LW quite a bit but I have lost everything above 18MHz - lots of NDB's last night from all over the country north to south.

What would happen if you put that coil on a switch (low loss)?

Glad to hear the 20uH coil worked! You can switch your coils in/out no problem. Coils don't care where they are used, but if you try a coil and it doesn't make any difference,then it's just not big enough.
