Good day, have any of you been able to monitor the OKWIN system (particularly in Lawton or Fort Sill) using a BCD436HP or BCD536HP? I will be coming to Fort Sill in six months and would like to know whether or not I need to buy an SDS100.
Anyone in Lawton or Fort Sill?

OKWIN site 1-03 in Lawton is simulcast (three sites) so you might have better luck with a SDS.
Good luck on your trip. I hope you are not planning on listening to Lawton PD since they have been infected with the dreaded "DE."
Otherwise, you should have a nice trip since Comanche County is open.
I have a difference of opinion since I own a 436HP and SDS 100. I have monitored OKWIN with relative ease using my 436HP.
However, the SDS 100 will definitely out perform the 436HP.
I just noticed that Ft. Sill has their own trunked system. Hence, I don't know if OKWIN patches or what.
Otherwise, you should have a nice trip since Comanche County is open.

I don't think there is anybody in the Lawton area interested in discovering new things, but I could be wrong. Most of this is years old and may no longer be relevant. Maybe that's why. I'm too far away to receive anything consistenly all the time.
