Just Trying to figure out if there are any in the state that still do, All of them listed in the DB have expired license, The next closest to me is MO HP and I can't get them most of the time, I was just curious if there were anymore in the state I was overlooking that you guys might know about?

I know of a couple of small towns here in South Arkansas that use Low Band for comms. The ones I know of are for like City Street Dept, Dog Catcher, etc. I don't know of any public safety agencies using low band in my area.

Low Band Woods Operations

While searching through the low band I came across logging operations and truckers using 46-50 MHz. Maybe the lower band is more effective in the thick wooded areas? Other then that I have not heard anyone else on that band.

Hmmm....I've heard them on AWIN Too, I thought all the Statewide ops were on AWIN but apparently I was wrong.. Around what time of day was it when that happened, I may have to listen in and see...
