Hi, I just purchased the 5700D but I quickly noticed the LCD screen unevenness, and the viewing angle is quite limited when looking at the screen downwards. I am wondering if anyone has the same issue here.

Try removing Mail Dial. Behind is hidden small screw to adjust screen brightness.

No screw is holding Main Dial. Some pull force is required to remove Main Dial. Small screw is now visible. Turn screw different directions to adjust screen. To replace Main Dial apply some pressure.

*Update* Information provided has been incorrect.

Please see correct information below. (PLEASE NOTE if Main Dial is removed, no damage should be caused to device or Main Dial rotary encoder).

Correct information:

Remove Sub Dial (see image below)
Behind dial after removal will show small screw for adjustment.
Use small flat screwdriver to make adjustments

LCD screen has some uneven backlighting and viewing angles when tilted.

Be advised making adjustment will control only light intensity.

It's the same thing : impossible !
It can take quite a bit of effort to pull the knobs off. The hardest part is getting a grip on the knob with your fingers.

A tiny flat blade pocket screwdriver between the knob and radio face can help but you need to protect the parts the screwdrivers is prying on so your radio and knob do not get marred up from the screwdriver.
If you do use a small screwdriver, you need to try and apply even pressure on two sides of the knob so you may need two screwdrivers or something skinny and flat behind two places of the knob so it pulls off straight..
One of the rubber things they sell to help grip lids on glass jars can also help you get a grip with just your fingers.

Many thanks, I took off the main encoder and adjusted the screw behind it. It is much better now. So I believe the screw behind the main encoder adjusts the contract of the screen.

So, are there 2 adjustment screws?
One behind the main dial and one behind the secondary dial, and one is for brightness and one is for contrast?
Thanks!

I confirm that the screw behind the main dial controls contract, but didn't check the the sub dial.

I have no screw behind the sub dial. The tiny screw hole behind the main dial will adjust the contrast. Just make very small adjustments. My 5700D's display was light on the left side when I received it. Probably from getting bounced around during transit. A small adjustment of the screw behind the main dial and now it is perfect.
