Here is some information on what I have done to interface my AOR 8200 Mk III radios to usb for control and and a mixer I will make for audio. It may not make much sense so if you want to know more let me know and I can update the site:

I may be taking a different approach for the audio portion so thought I would share what I have so far.

Just so you don't run out of things to think about, AOR recently changed the type of connector used on the AR8200 Mk3 because the maker of the previously used connector stopped production. There is a serial number break listed on the AOR (I think Japan) web site.

They should have called it the MkIV!

Thanks for the heads up. I added this to the page and punched up the warnings.

I also made it clear that the cable will be USB.
