I am using an AOR AR-DV1 with Butel ARC DV1 PRO.

For initial programming of various frequencies in the 144-174 MHz VHF high band and 440-470 MHz UHF bands, it looks like Level Squelch is the best. Has there been any change in this? (I know there have been some firmware updates over the years.)

Regarding Audio Quality/IF Bandwidth/Mode, when programming frequencies with an unknown mode, is it still best to simply select Auto since it will automatically set the IF Bandwidth to 15 MKz regardless of what IF Bandwidth is selected in the software?

One of the programming files that I want to create is banks of frequencies in ascending order with the goal of determining what mode each frequency is using.

For example, a bank of frequencies starting at 460.0000 and increasing by whatever the appropriate increment is for that frequency range. Then, if I determine that a given frequency is DMR, NXDN or whatever mode, I would add that to it.

Hi,
I generally use LSQ, but NSQ does help to prevent opening the squelch on random noise bursts.
The manual states that NSQ is only valid in FM mode.
