AOR DV1 Decoding DMR

Does the DV1 automatically select the DMR slot and colour code or do l have to do this manually?
When scanning l‘m coming across various DMR signals but the DV1 doesn’t decoding anything.
l can hear some garbled speech, but again the DV1 doesn't decode it.

Sorry for a stupid question, but do l need to set something up on the receiver?

Many DMR signals are scrambled now. The DV1 cannot unscramble the audio, Cheers.

Thanks, but on channels that are nor scrambled, do l need to select the DMR slot and colour code, or will this happen automatically ?

It should determine Color Code and Slot automatically....no need to program it

I listened to amature radio DMR mode on my DV1 when I had it and it worked perfectly without the need to do anything special.

My DV-1 detects DMR color code & slot when in search mode. There's plenty of DMR in the clear in the USA. Wish it had the ability to display TGID
