The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department has Highway 95 to 3rd Street to County Highway J in downtown Arcadia.
Heavy smoke and flames are coming from the building and Arcadia, Independence, Whitehall and other departments were called to this fire.
The Arcadia Police Department is asking parents of students who walk home from school to pick them up at the school. Police Chief Pat Grzadzielewski states the school will hold students at the school until parents arrive to pick them up.
