APCO Threshold Setting

I'm considering a 996 to compliment the 396. I've already gone through the motions to set the "Auto Threshold Level" for the 396 on Motorola APCO systems. Are these auto decode threshold levels unique to the radio or the system? IOW, it would be nice if I can just copy the levels to the 996, but don't know if this will work, or if I should go through the same motions for the 996.

Your 396 system settings should work fine on the 996.
