Apo?

Tonight in the 3rd District an officer wanted the numbers for an "APO." What is an APO? Assault on a police officer? Thanks!

The only "APO" I know of is Army Post Office. When I was stationed in Germany whenever someone wanted to send me something they had to address it to an "APO"

I'm not familiar with D.C. but in other places APO is auxiliary police officer

If you heard it on an MPD talkgroup, it's always "assault on police officer". "Numbers" refer to report number or arrest numbers as they correspond to a specific offense.
