I have finally got my OP25 running multi_rx on a raspberry pi model 3. I set up ice cast and liquid soap to broadcast on my local house network. I can hear the audio traffic on my iPhone and iPad (using safari), however no meta tags. I spent a lot of time debugging the meta tags in op25. I finally experimented with my MacBook Pro and Mac mini and found that I can use their music app to create a radio station and finally I am seeing meta tags besides the audio.
The question I have is whether or not there is a method for iPhones/iPads to receive audio and the meta tags.
Any suggestions?

Sadly, Scanner Radio on iOS does not allow custom URLS like they do on android. It would do everything I need if it did.

Thanks! I got StreamS to work. It’s funny how the same app (like Apple Music or Scanner radio) behave differently on different devices. I tried to do custom URLs in Music on the iPhone but couldn’t however I can on a Mac mini and MacBook Pro. also interesting that Android can do custom URLs in scanner but iPhone can’t.
Thanks again for the suggestions.

I've grown to really like StreamS. I've exchanged e-mails with one of the developers, they are looking into adding a background mode so you could "scan" and listen to music at the same time. I do that currently with Action Scanner, but no tags and a recent price increase/change to subscription model have made Action Scanner a lot less palatable.
