A quick search and noted this question has been asked before, but many years ago. I have recently acquired an AR5000+ but it lacks the 12v power cable and special 3 pin plug. Here in the UK the AOR dealers no longer have stock as the unit is discontinued. Does anyone know of a plug for another device which would fit and I can make a power cable from? Alternatively, has anyone replaced the power socket with a different design, that fits into the existing chassis aperture (12mm wide, 12-15mm high and screw hole spacing at 19mm) ? Any other suggestions to make a neat power cable solution for the radio would be appreciated.
