I am trying to use the software virtual control feature on the 996XT and have a small problem.
I think I'm missing a setting somewhere ... maybe you can help.

Everytime the radio stops on a freq it logs the info ...
When it stops the next time, it logs the info again and adds 1 more hit to the previous entry.

What I would like it to do ... is make one log entry per frequency and keep a running total of the hit count.

Suggestions???

Thanks

Heidi750,

In the Virtual Control take a look at the tab Log Settings/Misc: Make sure Log Every Event in History Grid is unchecked. I took a look at mine and when checked I get individual hit counts vs
a total if that block is unchecked.

If you still have problems with Butel software, supposedly you can get your money back, as long as it's within 30 days..

Virtual Control

I unselected "Log Every Event" but for some reason it still didn't work.
However when I unselected "Log Detected Subtones" ... it seemed to work.
Not sure why

Thanks to All

Unselecting 'Log Every Event' will do the trick. This will move the frequency to the top of the list and increase the hitcounter.
