Archive Feed issue

I attempt to listen to a archived feed from several months ago but all I hear is a hum.

Nothing to be done about it, unless you have a time machine, as whatever is in the archives is what came over from the feed provider. There are, unfortunately, quite a few feeds that are lousy quality or are feeding silence half the time they're online. Hearing nothing but hum is a classic sign of a crappy feed that has ground loop issues, and if you didn't hear any transmissions at all, then the provider was not doing the right thing.
