ARRL/VEC test question

Question about a question:

8) What is the name of the ARRL/VEC program feature where an ARRL/VEC team (with the appropriate documentation provided) can accept the services of a VE who is accredited with a different VEC?

The only thing I can find in the manual that even comes close is the Instant Accreditation. However, that doesn't read like a VE can just come in off the street and join the ARRL/VEC team - the ronin VE needs to fill out the application form and send it in before he can be accredited, right? Or can the ARRL/VE team have him fill out the form and use him right away while he waits for ARRL/VEC to review?

Yes, you have the correct answer. "Instant Accreditation"

In the application, under the section for "For Instant Accreditation" it states that you need to attach your existing VEC credentials for "Instant Accreditation". Assuming the VE has credentials, they are current, and they are submitted with the linked application, he can come in off the street. Effectively, vetting has already been done by the associated VEC. Instant means instant.
