Do you know if they will still have the same channels(channel 1 dispatch and channel 3 fireground), or are they adding more?

I could tell you what they have set up now but I think there will be some changes as a result of the training this week as soon as I know what they will be I will post.

Ever since I was a kid I've monitored Arvada fire. What's the deal with dispatch identifying (callsign) at the end of every transmission? (I think it's KJW507)

I can tell you that some of the dispatchers will say KJW507 out of habit some of them have been around 10+ years so they will say it more often than they are required I know when the switch over is complete you might still her it until they re train themselves not to.
