Arvada Nile Way Fire | 5280FIRE
02/10 ~ At 07:40 Arvada Firefighters were alerted to a possible structure fire at 9527 Nile Way. Arvada Police arrived on scene & advised the fire was on the second floor of an under construction house that appeared to be vacant. First due Engine 57 found a 2-story single family residential structure with brown smoke showing, set up PPA and pulled a 1 ¾” line for fire attack. Engine 58 pulled a back-up 1 ¾” line and made entry on the Alpha side. Battalion 51 arrived and assumed command and assigned Truck 56 to split crews, primary search/set-up ventilation and the second crew to control the utilities. The fire was placed under control and out at 07:57. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.
