I have 2 SS30m switching supplies. An old one, & a new one. The old one has 2 threaded studs that stick out the back of the supply. However, the newer one has 2 small boxes where you insert 1 wire, & tighten a screw. This only allows 1 wire to be connected to the supply, where as on the older version you can attach 6 wires to a ring connector, & stick it on the stud. I called Astron, & they said to get "UL" approval, they had to do this, as the threaded studs can short if they come into contact with metal. However, all the heavy linear supplies still use the studs. Are there adapters that can be used so the studs can be installed on the newer supplies. Has anyone retro'd their supplies to go back to the old style?

Wirelessly posted (Moto Droid Bionic: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.0.4; en-us; DROID BIONIC Build/6.7.2-223_DBN_M4-23) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30)

It isn't an ideal solution but one of the several MFJ multi-outlet strips might be an answer? One example: http://www.mfjenterprises.com/Product.php?productid=MFJ-1117.
