Audio issues

Have my Bct15 hooked up to computer and feed is working. However the audio sounds a little over modulated on the app. Any suggestions how to tone it down?

What app are you using to stream? Also how high is the volume turned up on the BCT15?

Broadcastify. The volume on scanner is about mid way.

Are you using Proscan? If so on the Audio Control tab in Proscan adjust the slider bars downwards to get modulation level down.

On my 325P2 levels are set to Capture -13db and Playback 8db, yours will probably be different but close.

Also, I'd like to shorten the delay. Currently 1 1/2 min, like to get around 20-30 seconds. Any way I can do this, or does Broadcastify have to do it?

No way for you to shorten delay, Broadcastify runs from 45 seconds to near 3 minutes on delay, it can not be adjusted on your end, and just inherit to the overhead processing of Broadcastify.

As long as you are not getting red on the end of the modulation scale you should be good to go. If there is red showing on either Capture or Playback just adjust that one till only yellow/orange shows.

I would turn down the scanner volume until the clipping goes a way. About 30 to 40%

I haven't changed any settings - now my audio feed has a constant echo, almost feedback issue. Anyone have a suggestion?
