Is there any way to get a bigger sized avatar for my profile besides 100 X 100 pixel and 8 mb???

100x100 pixels is the limit set by Lindsay. That is 8 Kb by the way, not 8 Mb. :lol:

When ever I try to upload an image to it it says: "FILE SIZE: Not a GIF 87a or 89a bytes" at the bottom of the window. Does anyone know what I should do?

Try cropping it down to 100 pixles using that gif program and see if that helps.

I've done that but when I upload it as my avatar, it said it must be smaller that 8kb. how do i make the file size smaller?

i had to keep making the pixle size smaller and eventually it worked.

That's a great site! We had fun goofin' with the 3D signatures etc. last night. Also I put in a new avatar that I "resized".

I still can't get it small enough. I'm trying to use one of lindsay's pics of the PRO-2096. I can't get the image size below 8 kb.

Well, all this talk about avitars and the fact that I have a new radio being delivered this upcoming Wed. has caused me to change my avitar for the first time since back the TrunkedRadio.Net days...

I still have the old one though, just in case I get tired of looking at that new radio.
