Sorry if this has been answered but I am stumped. How can I turn off or "avoid" reception of CB traffic on this radio? I can't find an answer in the manual and I can't find a "CB Radio" while scrolling through the radio menus. CB does appear as a "System" and a "Department" but I can only "avoid" individual channels. Thanks. Eric

Turn off Nationwide. It's in there.
Service Type = "Other"
Turn "other" off.
Turn "other" off.
If the service other is used anywhere else, op would be turning more than just cb off.
Best to read scanner into sentinel and open nationwide and avoid all none interest. Write back to scanner.

Thanks All! For the life of me I couldn't find it. I think Dave has the answer and I'm going to try it. I listen to other services in that category, I just can't stand the CB. At my location all I get is noise and overamped hollering on the CB channels.
