AVON, Colo. -- An Amber Alert has been issued for two missing Avon kids -- a 15-year-old girl and and 11-year-old boy.

Jessica Marbella Garcia and Jose Lewis Cerrato were last seen Friday at 5 a.m. They were allegedly taken by their mother's live-in boyfriend, Pedro Mata Rodriguez, Avon police said.

Rodriguez has an extensive criminal history and may be taking them to Mexico, the Colorado Bureau of Information said.

AVON - An Amber Alert was issued Friday afternoon for a missing 15-year-old girl and a missing 11-year-old boy.

Authorities are looking for Jessica Marbella Garcia. She is Hispanic, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 120 pounds, with brown eyes, and long, curly brown hair.

Authorities are also searching for 11-year-old Jose Lewis Cerrato. He is Hispanic, 4 feet 8 inches, 98 pounds with brown eyes and hair that is brown on the sides and blonde on top.

The children were last seen in the town of Avon, near Vail, with Pedro Mata Rodriguez.

Rodriguez, 31, is the live in boyfriend of the children's mother.

Authorities say Rodriguez and the children may be headed to Mexico and he has an extensive criminal history.

Rodriguez is Hispanic, 5 feet 3 inches, 145 pounds, with brown eyes and black straight short hair.

If you see any of these people you are urged to immediately contact your local law enforcment agency or dial 911.
