B-52 SATCOM Radio Check

B-52's up on 261.475 working their ops SATCOM freq for a radio check in the clear. On Brandon's advice here I started monitoring 261.475 with some good results from the B-52's. Here is a little clip of what I could get after grabbing the cell phone to get some video....

Is 261.475 a typo?

Freq is definitely 260.475.

I seem to be getting encrypted traffic on 260.475

Correct me if Im wrong but I think the 260.475 freq is assigned to the PAC West birds.Its listed in band plan A on Fltsat and N on the Follow On (UFO) sats. From my location here on the East Coast I can only hear the sats that carry band plan B and C for Fltsat or P and Q on the UFO sats.

Im still trying to figure out all these freqs and what birds they are assigned to. Some web sites give conflicting info.

Yea, I hear ya. I've never been able to discern what belongs to what. I just put them all in the radio and let it scan.
