Ok thanksFire dispatch is 854.6375 , NAC 057.
Also simulcast on the old Vhf frequency, 154.400, PL 151.4.
These are listed on the Dallas County database page.
You might be able to hear them if you are up here in Dallas County, or western Kaufman County, but it's unlikely you could hear them from Canton.
For some unknown reason I'm not hearing Balch Springs PD or Fire. Did they change freqs?

I'm not hearing them from Oak Cliff either. Even though my SDS200 is on a yagi, pointed east-southeast, I'm not hearing activity, and when using the 'Analyze' mode, I don't see even the remotest hint of a control channel. Either it's not in use, or they are using such low power, focused heavily on their city.I was in Mesquite today for about 4 hours and had Balch Springs on my SDS100 and KNG radio. Both were silent the entire time. They both worked in the past. So anybody have any info on any changes that may have happened?
Im back home in old east dallas and about to set the scanner in search mode on the freqs to see if anything pops on vs what i have had programmed in it..
Hope you have better luck with it than I've had. I've had it programmed for quite some time, with no activity being logged on ProScan.I was in Mesquite today for about 4 hours and had Balch Springs on my SDS100 and KNG radio. OH wow.. i had no clue they went to a trunking system. Thanks for the info. Guess ill be doing some reprogramming tomorrow.
I just took a quick look at the license on the FCC site.Looks like a single site on top of a 120’ foot water tower. So I wouldn’t expect too much range out of it.
Thanks Patrick.@hiegtx From my Old East Dallas apt (about a mile or so from Baylor) I am able to get them on my G4 and intermittently on my SDS100.
Picked up 5701 PD Disp
5711, 5712 and 5721all had traffic, these three are carrying FD/EMS traffic. But i need to monitor more to try to get confirmation of them for sure.
