BALT CO 800 in FAILSOFT

A Balt Co medic unit just noted on 46.28 patch that his 800 radios had gone offline and switched to failsoft...although in the Northern Balt Co area 800 still seems fully active. Here in Balt Co, when failsoft is reverted to, are the NPSAC freqs what units actually transmit on? That is how things work w/ the DE state system. Very curious.

When a system goes into Failsoft, as I understand it, the various sites more or less work like conventional repeaters. The NSPAC frequencies, as has been written about before, are virtually unknown here (they don't have the policies and procedures set up to use them), so you can almost completly ignore them and not miss much.

And each talkgroup defaults to a particular frequency/repeater.

Half of the Frequencies go to Conventional for Fire & Half go to Conventional for Police.
