Man i'm just tugging your leg so take it all in jest. It's a good looking rack mount and I bet that cabinet makes the 4 speakers really sound good.

But it reminds me of the grandpa pickup trucks with a thousand extra amber lights and reflectors all over it

Oh I dont take it personal.. In all the critiques I received, I really never heard that one. EIther way, I got tired of looking at them myself and switched to black with just the tunning knob staying red. Change is good.

I have my wife put red fingernail polish on the volume controls of my radios to remind me. I am thinking of trying some sort of luminescent paint so I can more easily find them in the dark before the family is up.

That's not a bad idea actually. I gotta look around for some luminesent paint myself. Bright green always works well in the dark.
