• To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:

Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. Making a request such as this is attempting to engage in software piracy and this forum cannot be involved or associated with this activity. The same goes for any private transaction via Private Message. Even if you attempt to engage in this activity in PM's we will still enforce the forum rules. Your PM's are not private and the administration has the right to read them if there's a hint to criminal activity.

If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

This is a large and very visible forum. We cannot jeopardize the ability to provide the RadioReference services by allowing this activity to occur. Please respect this.

That was months ago.
I logged in there pretty much a couple times a week until a few days ago.
I get to the site, but it just doesn't accept my username or password.

Unless my brain is gone, www.batlabs.com goes to a completely different home page that it used to. I was able to web search and find some of the specific pages for radio info.

Haven't logged into the chatboard in quite a long time, in fact, I gave up on it years ago when it stopped being professional radio guys and turned into more of a motohead/ham/hobby hangout. It was good for archive data, but there hadn't been anything useful there in a quite a while.

Shame to lose all those old posts, but probably time the site vanished off into the ether.

What URL are you using? www.batlabs.com goes to "FET Technologies" for me.

Batboard - Index page does go to the boards. The boards are useful for historic stuff, but the good stuff was always the information on the radio specific pages for batlabs.

This is what I’ve been getting for months. I can read most posts, I just can’t reply.

This is what I get:
"The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again."
Prior to a couple days ago I have been able to log in every time with no issues.
Usually check the site a couple times a week.
Although, there has been so little "new" stuff on there, I don't know why I check it.
Just habit of a couple of decades being on there.

My Favorites go to the Index page for the board. I guess the URL for Batlabs.com expired and someone else picked it up. :(

What a POS.
Won't let me login with the info I have used for years.
AND when I try to register, it just loops to the same spot of agree to the terms, and won't go past that.
I guess I am done with it.
NOTHING has changed on my end, so I really don't see any reason this should happen.
