Recently I bought some used Motorola XTS batteries off of Ebay. I paid like $13 for 5 or them plus shipping it was $25 bucks. I have had my radio repeatedly in the radio shop tryin to get a better battery. I had two. One was good for about 5 hours the would go a good 14. Some how my good battery got replaced with a piece of junk that might go four hours. ( I hope it blows up on who ever stole it). I got so sick of not being able to go a full shift without loosing my hand held. I finally got them to give me one good battery and a promise that some would be ordered. Anyway so I said what the heck a got thoses off ebay. I figured if i got one good one it would be worth it, since list is almost $200 a piece.
Out of the 5 one gives me about 4 hours, I have not reconditioned yet. Two are good for 6 to 8 hours. Two routinely run 12 to 14. I hope some of the times improve after I take them to the shop and get them reconditioned. Last week I bought 5 more from this guy, this time for $5. I have not tested them yet but they look real good. They are the higher capacity models. They look reall good and all charged up. So if you need extra batteries for your xts radios you might want to check out Ebay. Oh yeah they are Original Motorola batteries.

What's the seller's ebay ID, and does he carry other Moto batteries, say for the GP300?

Mark S.

His name on ebay is searchking and he is out of Fla. I have only bought from him twice but seems to get a lot of motorola stuff.
