Im assuming it may be better for the battery to leave it
The setting is only for the alert, it has zero effect on the low voltage cutoff point.

That must be a Bo Bo in the firmware then...
3.7V is the nominal voltage on a LIION batt... 4.2v is the full charge voltage...

That's how it's been since the SDS100. The user setting is only for the alert, cutoff is hard coded.

Yes, the alert voltage.
The manual, at least the part you quoted, says you can set the low-battery voltage alerts and at what voltage you'll get the low battery alert; not the actual point the radio turns off.

I see the confusion. I meant to post mine cuts off at 3.07v, not 3.7v.
It was my understanding there would be no math.

My 100 is set to alarm at 3.3 volts...
