how low can the battery get when the radio shuts off - what voltage
Mine shuts off around 3.7v.how low can the battery get when the radio shuts off - what voltage
Thanks!Mine shuts off around 3.7v.
Thank you!Should be about 3.1-3.4V.
Im assuming it may be better for the battery to leave itI know this can be done in the 100, as I have yet to buy the 150, but in the menu, there's an option to set minimum voltage. It defaults to 3.7V, but can be set lower.
The setting is only for the alert, it has zero effect on the low voltage cutoff point.I know this can be done in the 100, as I have yet to buy the 150, but in the menu, there's an option to set minimum voltage. It defaults to 3.7V, but can be set lower.
Thanks for the clarificationThe setting is only for the alert, it has zero effect on the low voltage cutoff point.
300% sure.
That must be a Bo Bo in the firmware then...300% sure.
That's how it's been since the SDS100. The user setting is only for the alert, cutoff is hard coded.That must be a Bo Bo in the firmware then...
3.7V is the nominal voltage on a LIION batt... 4.2v is the full charge voltage...
@jasonhouk
Yes, the alert voltage.I can set the voltage on my 100...
The manual, at least the part you quoted, says you can set the low-battery voltage alerts and at what voltage you'll get the low battery alert; not the actual point the radio turns off.
In that post UPMan said it is around 3.1V cutoff... Not 3.7V![]()
SDS100/SDS200: - How low can you go? (Battery voltage)
How low can I go on battery voltage without ruining the battery pack on my sds 100? I currently have it set to 3.20 volts.forums.radioreference.com
I see the confusion. I meant to post mine cuts off at 3.07v, not 3.7v.In that post UPMan said it is around 3.1V cutoff...
