yeah, I don't know what happened but I do know my 436 has been talking away and the SDS 100 sounds like it's encrypted which I know now it is not but pro voice on the SDS is definitely deaf

@ynot58 Just an FYI, My SDS200 is also deaf on the pro-voice system, It did work prior to the update. My 536 HP has no issues with it.

My 436 and 536 work on provoice as my 200 and 100 dont but they are working on it. Should be a new firmware soon. Keeping an eye out. Everything in the radios should work as designed and what we paid for weather we use it, need it or not, but they said they are diligently trying to write the fix in testing now.
I wonder if construction of the Harris P25 system has started yet. The contract was awarded just about two years ago.
It's in the early stages. But there is movement on it.
When they were building the EDACS system it seemed to take years before it was on line. And of course no one could figure out why they went with EDACS and not Motorola like just about everyone else in eastern MA.

Does everybody have to bootlick and go with MSI? Going with msi is half the problem in most of these situations.
You've never dealt with Harris, have you?
That aside, when the EDACS system was built there was no interoperability standard. Now subscriber units on a Harris system can access a Motorola system and vice versa. Back then the MBTA, along with Worcester were on their own islands.

Yea I worked on a harris system for 4 years. I'm very familiar with the piss corp and their antics as well.
Back to the subject at hand. Uniden has fixed the Pro Voice bug, just update your firmware.
Tested with my SDS 200, that it is working properly now.
