BC 780XLT Help

I been using this scanner for a long toim. Yesterday I reset and cleared the memory and now it wont conect to the PC when I go to reprogram it. I am using Proscan. I set the boud rate on the scanner and proscen to 19200, 9600 and 4800 just trying to get it to work. What am I doing wrong?

Are you putting it in Program Mode.

Press and (Hold) the E key for 2 seconds, that puts you in Remote Mode (RMT shows on the screen, upper right) when done programming repeat that to take it out of Remote Mode.

Just got a used BC780XLT... Trying to use WinScan780. What Software would you suggest? It seems winscan780 is causing more problems than it worth fooling with. Thanks.... Alan

ProScan -- definitely top of the line for the 780....73 Mike
