BC246T - Alternating between alpha tags and frequency?

Crap. I was wondering the same thing. So the only way to see the frequency would be to make it the alphatag? That's dumb.

There is only so much display 'real estate' on the scanner! If you want to see the frequency, make it part of the alpha tag or don't program an alpha tag. Usually if you tag something, you know what it is and no longer care what the frequency (or CTCSS/CDCSS) is.

Ahh...but not all of us get it right. For it to scroll thru the freq and alphatag (just like the system/group scroll) would be wonderful. I would personally like the ability to see the frequency without having to go thru the whole programming menu. Dumb might be an overstatement, but I think it's a simple thing to expect.

Under ARC246 computer control you can see the frequency (even in trunk mode), but you must connect your 246 to a pc.
