BC296 question

Just a quick question for anyone that will answer it. What is the difference between the BC250D and the BC296 other than the fact the BC296 includes the digital card? Thanks in advance for any responses.

BC296D will decode both 3600 & 9600 baud Control Channels

BC250D will only decode 3600 buad CC's.

I'm sure that they're are a few other features given to one and not the other, but I'm not sure of what those might be......

When in ID Search mode, the 296 will show the Alpha Tag of TGs already programmed and the 250 won't. This is a feature that was in the 780XLT, dropped for the 785/250 and then restored in the 296/796. Nice feature if you are searching for new TGs in a system you regularly scan.

Not a lot of other differences though.
